About Belotero Balance

For your wrinkle-removal needs, consider the new hyaluronic acid-based injectable dermal filler, Belotero Balance, for use in the treatment of nasolabial folds, marionette lines, smoker’s lines, worry lines, furrows, smile lines, crow’s feet and other moderate or severe folds, lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring sugar that binds with water, thus providing an effective dermal filler that encourages increased volume and plumping, leading to a more youthful appearance and smoother skin. Belotero Balance differs from other hyaluronic acid fillers by using cohesive polydensified matrix technology and is a monophasic gel filler.

Patients can expect Belotero Balance sessions to last approximately 15 to 30 minutes, which will involve cleansing the area, applying a topical cream anesthetic and injecting the dermal filler into the dermis. No downtime is needed and patients are able to resume regular daily activities directly after their Belotero Balance appointment. There may be some swelling or redness that could last for a few days after your session, which is normal.

Belotero Balance is priced comparably to other dermal fillers, but for an exact cost estimate it is best to consult a facility that provides the treatment. The cost of treatment, as with all cosmetic procedures, will depend largely on geography, provider fees and the number of areas to be treated. Patients may want to explore financing options and payment plans offered by their provider to cover the costs of receiving Belotero Balance, as this procedure, like other aesthetic treatments, is generally not covered by insurance policies.

Scheduling a consultation with a local medspa or cosmetic dermatologist is the best way to determine if Belotero Balance is the right treatment for you and to learn more about hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers.
