About Bbl Phototherapy

Looking for a gentle, noninvasive procedure that can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, help fade age spots and sun spots, reduce pore size and improve skin’s tone and texture? Then BBL Phototherapy could be just the procedure for you. BBL Phototherapy relies on intense pulses of broad band light to eradicate minor to moderate signs of aging and sun damage by gently heating the skins under layers, helping skin slough off damaged upper layers while encouraging the growth and development of collagen, the element that allows skin to appear and feel firmer and more resilient. Because collagen growth will occur over time, you’ll continue to see improvement in your skin’s texture even after the treatment is completed.

BBL Phototherapy can also help tighten and tone treatment areas, reducing skin’s overall laxity and sagging that can occur with age. Even one treatment will result in visible changes in your skin’s appearance and texture, but most men and women choose to undergo a series of up to five treatments in order to tap into the greatest benefits offered by the BBL Phototherapy procedure.

The outpatient procedure takes less than a half hour in most patients, and can be used to treat any area of the body. Most men and women choose it to treat the face, hands, shoulders, and chest, all areas which have been exposed to the sun’s damaging rays over time. Afterward, you’ll need to wear sunscreen to protect your skin during the healing phase, when skin is especially sensitive to ultraviolet rays.

One of the primary advantages of the BBL Phototherapy procedure is that there is no downtime required. After treatment, most men and women jump back into their normal routines, making it an ideal “lunch time” procedure. Any residual redness following the procedure resolves within a few hours and can be covered by makeup.
