Dr. Kronberg began her practice in 1985. She has been a leader and pioneer in Cosmetic Dermatology for 20 years. In addition to general dermatology, her practice encompasses Cosmetic, Dermatological and Laser surgery. Spider Veins
Dr. Kronberg specializes in the treatment of spider veins of the legs. She has been honored as the Top Doctor; ‘Best of the Best’ by her peers, the Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons of the United States, for the treatment of spider veins (Sclerotherapy). She has specialized in Sclerotherapy since 1985, and has appeared on NBC, ABC and CNN as the expert in this field. Dr. Kronberg has performed more than 40,000 of these procedures on patients from 38 states and 40 foreign countries.
 
She injects a very special saline solution into the tiny vessels. This solution is natural to the body and not a foreign chemical. The veins will fade away over 2 to 3 months. One treatment is sufficient and delivers superior results for most patients.

Sclerotherapy is still the best treatment for spider veins of the legs. Dr. Kronberg has found through experience and on-going testing that Lasers are not as effective on small leg veins.

IPL
IPL is a non-invasive procedure to freshen the skin. It eliminates red and brown skin discolorations, which are caused by sun and tanning bed damage.
The treatment gets rid of redness, flushing, broken capillaries, fine lines and brown spots. It also eliminates the redness and flushing of Rosacea as well as red acne scars. You will also see the disappearance of mottled skin as your skin takes on a nice, fresh glow. Overall, your appearance is much brighter and youthful-looking.

IPL's benefit is that it gives you the results of a medium depth peel without the down time or risk of a more invasive procedure.

Patients do a series of 5 treatments, 3 - 4 weeks apart.

Dr. Kronberg does all the treatments and has been performing this since 2001.

Botox
Botox® is the most common cosmetic procedure performed in the world. Botox Cosmetic® is a non-surgical treatment that relaxes the muscles and removes wrinkles on the face. It lasts 4 - 5 months and takes 2 -10 days to show its full effects.

It is used for removing the frown crease, Crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, down-turned mouth, neck wrinkles (turkey neck), muscle tics and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of the armpits)..

Botox® is most potent for 4 hours. Since the bottles hold enough medicine for 3 -4 treatment areas, Dr. Kronberg performs this treatment on specific days. At the end of the day any remaining Botox® is thrown away. This way you always get freshly mixed Botox® on your treatment days.Botox that is saved quickly loses it’s potency.

We have found that ‘saved’ Botox® (Allergan) is not overly effective. Also,. patients who are being told that ‘their bottle’ will be kept on hand for touch-ups or their next visit should understand that it is not effective at all at this point.

Dr. Kronberg is a National Trainer for Botox®. (Allergan).She has been treating patients with Botox® since 1997 and she performs all of the injection treatments.

Restylane
Restylane® is another safe and natural hyaluronic acid cosmetic filler for facial lines. It was the first cosmetic filler made from non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. This is a sugar that is naturally found in the body and provides volume and fullness to the skin.

It is very safe and requires no skin testing. It has been used world wide since 1996.It lasts 6-8 months. We utilize a topical anesthetic cream on the patient’s skin 30 minutes prior to the treatment.

Juvederm
Juvederm® is the next generation hyaluronic acid dermal filler. This is a sugar-based natural product. It is a very smooth dermal filler and lasts 6 months to a year.
It does not create the redness and swelling that some other fillers indicate immediately following treatment. No skin testing is needed.

Dr. Kronberg is the only person in the office that handles Juvederm.

We can remove tattoos with a Laser. The light shatters the pigment to get rid of the color. It takes 6- 10 treatments. You can do the treatments 1 to 2 months apart.

Microdermabrasion
This process gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells to improve the texture and tone of the skin. This is done with a diamond tip and is much gentler than using the traditional crystals. There is no down time. These are performed by our medical aesthetician.
