Restylane is a dermal filler composed of a biodegradable non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found within the cell structures of all living organisms and provides volume and contour to the skin.

Restylane is formulated as a clear gel and is injected into the target area for the reduction of wrinkles and folds. Hyaluronic acid gradually degrades and is naturally reabsorbed into the skin tissue of the patient.
