Ask a woman what the worst part about aging is and you're going to get a wide variety of answers. But give her a few drinks and a great friend and sooner or later she'll reveal that one of the biggest problems is that sex changes when you get older. And although we'd like to blame that on the problems that the male partner faces as he ages, the truth is that women also undergo hormonal changes that may make them less interested in - and less capable of - regular sex.

One solution to that which is currently drawing interest is LibiGel, a testosterone gel for women which is currently being tested. It's a gel that is rubbed on to the upper arms daily and makes its way into the bloodstream in order to stimulate hormonal changes that will increase libido. Testing so far has gone good and the product is now in third phase clinical testing during which women who have gone through natural or surgically-induced menopause are seeing if the product works for them.

One recent article argued that this is yet another step on the path towards true equality for women and men. Products for the aging male hormone problem have been around for about ten years so it's about time that the women who want to regain their libidos have a product to help them do it!
