Get Your Vitamins in Tablet Form, Not Liquid

tablet-8hr.jpg

Wellness doctor Andrew Weil answered an interesting question recently in a column published by Rocky Mountain News. The question was about a specific liquid vitamin brand and whether or not its claims were true. What is most interesting about Weil's response is that he basically debunks the idea that there is any major benefit to getting your vitamins in liquid form as opposed to tablet form.

Of course, there might be a good reason that you want to get your vitamin supplements in the form of a liquid. Perhaps you hate swallowing pills - or can't swallow them for one reason or another. But if you've been looking into liqiud supplements just because you thought that they might be better for your body, you can look no further. Your vitamins are probably just fine.

The key really seems to be not in the form of the vitamin itself but rather in the quality of the vitamin. You want to work with a wellness provider and a pharmacy that is going to give you the best quality vitamins for your money. If you take care to get good vitamins then your body will absorb what it needs to from them. We'll drink to that!

Question of the Day: Have you been interested in the wellness benefits of liquid vitamins?
