Reality TV shows are fun to watch for so many different reasons. They’re entertaining, they’re addictive and they’re exactly the kind of “bad TV” that clears your mind of the day’s shenanigans. Celebrities on reality television are even more fun because they combine the silly addictiveness of reality TV with the allure of Hollywood. Because of this, more reality TV shows with celebrities in them are really in order.
Wouldn’t a great reality television series be one on extreme celebrity surgery? It could be an elimination-based series in which certain celebrities go through rounds of plastic surgery until they just can’t take it anymore. One of the stars would come out looking totally transformed. Wouldn’t you tune in to see which stars changed for the better and which just looked terrible after the week’s surgeries were done?
This could be a come-back gimmick for stars that have left the spotlight. If people will watch LaToya Jackson become a police officer working in Muncie Indiana (on Armed and Famous), they’ll sure spend the time to watch an extreme celebrity surgery competition on TV.
