You may or may not consider Kathy Griffin to be a celebrity in her own right. That just depends on what you define as a star and how far you’re willing to stretch the word celebrity to include people making the D-list. But there’s no denying that Kathy Griffin is a name that most people know which makes her a celebrity in the most basic sense of the word. And with all of the cosmetic surgery that she’s had done, she’s not just a celebrity but something of a plastic surgery celebrity.

It was pointed out after her recent Emmy win that much of the plastic surgery that Kathy’s had done was similar to that done by Nicole Kidman. The facial flaw that the two shared was a combination of low eyebrows and a high forehead. Short of creative work with bangs, they figured they needed some plastic surgery to fix the problem. The work that Kathy had done to get the job done was mostly a brow lift which adjusted the difference between the brows and forehead.

Just the brow lift wouldn’t make Kathy stand out as a plastic surgery celebrity though. This status comes from the other work that she’s had done which includes liposuction and basic Botox injections. More than this, her plastic surgery celebrity status comes from the fact that she’s the insider gossip on the work that other stars have had done.
